Kesra, a native of Middletown, Maryland, has been painting landscapes of her home and travels since 1996. Growing up in an area rich with farmland and forests cultivated within her a passion of the natural world. As a child, traveling worldwide with her parents instilled a desire to share her excitement for the beauty around her.
Kesra's mediums of choice are gouache, for works on paper, and acrylic, for paintings on gessoed board or for wall murals. More often than not, she also finds herself choosing charcoal and drawing pencils, which have always been her go-to utensils for the sketchbook, for larger and/or framed work.
