Still Standing, Driftwood Beach, Jekyll Island, GA, No. 2
Driftwood Beach is filled with big dead trees and while most are resting on their sides, branches and roots outstretched, this one was still standing 'til a hurricane in the summer of 2024. I love the shape of the branches and the sky between, the glittery water and the squiggly reflection on the sand... ok, pretty much everything about this image, so I had to paint this one again (double the size of the first one).
