Evening In High Field, Nimrod, VA
The shadows became one with the bales and the contrast of the light and dark greens made me stop in my tracks. I'm always a sucker for those shadow-shapes on the rumpled mountain. This is a piece with "limited strokes", forcing more simplicity in the painting process - a great exercise for me; acrylic on gessoed "4-ply" mat board; SOLD
