Evening Cloud Drama at Sunset 3, Nimrod, VA
I took so many photos that evening, with everyone on the porch at Sunset 3... the next morning I did this opaque gouache painting, really out of my comfort zone of medium-usage style... but was pretty darn excited with how it turned out! Although it's the opposite of how I usually work (drawing, then painting) it became the "study" for the charcoal demonstration I did for my students later that day. SOLD!
