Moon Over Cloud Bank, Lower Field, Nimrod, Virginia
I know these names are long, but for my bookkeeping, it's how I remember which is which, especially after 10 years of painting at Nimrod Hall! This one is the beginning of a different sort of style... using gouache opaquely, the way most folks use gouache... and I quite like how this one turned out... loose and immediate... it was a study for the demo I I did for my students.
